IFTF's Future Now is a group weblog, founded by Institute research director Alex Soojung-Kim Pang in September 2003. Its contributors include IFTF researchers interested in emerging technologies, the future of Asia, and the social and economic impacts on new technologies; IFTF corporate affiliates; academic partners; and members of the Innovation Lab, a Danish futures group with offices in Aarhus and Copenhagen. At the risk of looking like I'm engaging in more self-promotion than is typical even for bloggers, I've started a new blog on the end of cyberspace. I think the idea has enough popularity to support a stand-alone blog, and I've also got a couple articles (the first of several, I hope) on it coming out in the next month or two. So it seemed a good time to start up the site.
