IFTF's Future Now is a group weblog, founded by Institute research director Alex Soojung-Kim Pang in September 2003. Its contributors include IFTF researchers interested in emerging technologies, the future of Asia, and the social and economic impacts on new technologies; IFTF corporate affiliates; academic partners; and members of the Innovation Lab, a Danish futures group with offices in Aarhus and Copenhagen. Blackmagic, A technology that allows 3D viewing and interaction with books. An intriquing and very unusual idea. How it works. It seems to primarily designed for use with explanatory graphics, but I could see the idea also linked to data that I wanted to understand in multiple dimensions. Though with increasing ability to acquire and download content, and manipulate images onscreen with the illusion of 3D, why use another device? perhaps integrate the idea into head-mounted systems?
